Telecommunications is the fourth leg of our county’s infrastructure system and faces similar financing and public-private partnership issues that exist in other infrastructure industries. The firm is currently assisting the Department of Agriculture in developing underwriting criteria for the Rural Utilities Service to bring local television to residents in rural areas. The firm has a unique understanding of the Federal Credit Reform Act of 1990, and the implementation issues associated with federal assistance to local projects.

The firm brings those skills to projects to craft new telecommunication program regulations. A number of the firm’s clients in the engineering, construction, and project development arena also serve the telecommunications industry, and we support those clients in this industry. As with other practices, there is state and local involvement, both on the regulatory and financing side of the telecommunications industry.
